Maybury State Park will host a "GO-Get Outdoors" nordic ski demonstration on Saturday, Jan.19, beginning at 10 a.m.
REI, a sporting goods merchandising company, will demonstrate the latest and greatest in nordic equipment. Visitors will have the opportunity to test the equipment.
The event will be held at the Maybury concession building where light refreshments and a warming fire will be provided until 2 p.m.
Maybury State Park is located on Beck Road in Northville. For more information about this event, contact the park at 248-349-8390.
All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the entrance. Cost is $24 for resident annual and $6 for resident daily. A non-resident annual is $29 and a non-resident daily is $8.
