Fall colors are at or very near peak now in northern Wisconsin, and despite the dry conditions this summer, colors are reported as very vibrant in many areas. There is a hint of fall color in the south, with some sugar maples having patches of bright orange, ash trees turning yellow and staghorn sumac turning a deep scarlet.
