How to freeze green peppers
GardeningTip: Wash and dry the green pepper. Cut off the top stem and remove the seeds. Dice the pepper into the size you want and lay them out in a single layer on a cookie sheet or baking pan. Set the pan on a flat surface in your freezer for 1 to 2 hours, (or until the pieces are lightly frozen). Remove the pan from the freezer; with a spatula scoop the diced pieces of pepper into a glass jar or freezer bag. You can label with the food item and date if you would like and then return to the freezer.

By freezing the pieces individually, you can remove any amount you need the next time you are cooking chili, a casserole, stew, meatloaf or one of your favorite recipes.
You can also freeze the peppers by removing the stems, seeds and cutting them into quarters lengthwise and freezing (see below). Remove one or two pieces the next time you are cooking Fahita's, Stir Fry or Kabobs. Use your imagination to create great tasting meals with your fresh frozen green peppers.
