Do you enjoy camping? How about cooking over a campfire? My family loves cooking over a campfire while camping. We especially like cooking dough (such as biscuits or croisants out of a tube) and then after it is cooked, filling the dough with pudding, jelly, hotdog, etc. This is a great treat!
The problem has been that we cooked it with a wooden dowel. Wood does not conduct heat well at all, so often the inside would stay doughy while the outside gets burnt. Also, I was the only one who could do it well enough, so I always had to do all the cooking. I thought there had to be a better way!
I could not find a better way on the market. So I developed my own. I call it the "Camp Dough Cooker (TM)" I sell them at www.campdoughcooker.com. Take a look at it! It is made completely out of stainless steel, the same as what your pots and pans at home are made out of. It is small and portable, so it is easier to carry along than a long wooden dowel, and MUCH easier to clean. It is hollow inside, so it allows the heat to reach the inside of the dough. The best thing is that you can attach one or two of them to a hotdog fork for much faster cooking. You can also simply attach it to a stick you find in the woods. There is a set screw on it to hold it to anything you want.
