Pike Bay Lake and Cass Lake are still providing consistent perch action in 25 to 30 feet of water. The main lake points and bars are your best bets throughout the day. Early and late in the day you’ll find a fair number of active perch in shallow water as well. Crappies continue to be deep but active on Kitchi Lake and Lower Sucker Lake. Glow jigs tipped with minnows and Eurolarvae have worked best for these suspended fish. The best bet for sunfish continues to be Grace Lake in 20 to 24 feet of water and Big Lake in slightly shallower water.

Look for crappies to be suspended over deep water on Kitchi Lake and Lower Sucker Lake. These fish are hitting minnows or Eurolarvae during the afternoon and evening hours. Pike Bay Lake and Cass Lake are safe bets for perch throughout the day. Generally speaking, minnows are working best in deep water during midday hours, but look to the shallow side of most breaks early and late in the day.

Cass Lake and Pike Bay Lake continue to produce limits of perch at a variety of depths. The bigger perch are coming from seven to 12 feet of water during midday hours, while 25 to 35 feet is the best bet late in the afternoon. Look for crappies and sunfish on Big Lake and Lake Pimushe during the morning hours in 10 to 14 feet of water.
