Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday three days in a row without wind or rain and now it looks like Thursday is going to be another beautiful day. With all of this nice weather the fishing has picked up some, a few (very few) crappies are coming in off the cribs and the northern pike are starting to hit again, should be a good weekend if the wind and rain hold off for a few more days.

The 4th of July 2005 is history, not a good weekend for fishing at all, the wind never stopped blowing for the whole weekend, still it was a good weekend for camping, swimming, campfires and just plain relaxing.

The water is still high and probably will be for quite a while, that makes it very difficult for some of the larger boats and pontoons to make it under the bridge when leaving the marina, so we are sending the larger boats to Morts and the public access in Waskish.
