Walleye activity is limited to the evening hours along the deep weed edges. These same weed edges will produce northern pike on sucker minnows during the day. Sunfish have provided the most consistent bite in six to 10 feet of water throughout the lake. Look for crappies on top of the deep milfoil; muskies continue to be seen -- and have followed baits -- near the weeds. They're chasing topwater presentations.
