Fathead minnows are producing perch and a few walleyes on Lake Bemidji in 22 to 30 feet of water. Setlines and shiner minnows have been working for walleyes along the 20-foot breaks of Lake Plantagenette. Panfish action remains slow, but northern pike can be had on tip-ups and sucker minnows on Lake Bemidji in 10 to 12 feet of water.

Perch and walleyes biting on Lake Bemidji in 25-30 feet of water. Lake Bemidji is also producing some pike in 10 feet of water. Try a tip-up and a sucker minnow. Use shiner minnows for walleyes on Plantagenette in 20 feet of water.

Perch are biting in 25’-30’ of water, walleyes being caught just above the breakline from 7’-12’ using jigs that glow and shiners for walleyes and for perch. The ice is spotty, so please be cautious wherever you are going.

There’s a few walleyes coming off Lake Plantagenette and Lake Bemidji in 20 to 25 feet of water. Setlines and shiner minnows are working best. Tip-ups and large shiner minnows are turning northern pike on the Turtle River Chain and Lake Bemidji in 10 to 12 feet of water. There are crappies and bluegills biting throughout the area, but anglers have been tight-lipped with specifics.
