Walleyes biting on Blackduck Lake in 14-20 feet of water. Anglers using Lindy rigs with small leeches or crawlers. A few are trolling cranks. Red Lake producing some very nice pike along the shallow water shoreline. Big bucktails, spoons or crankbaits all working. A few panfish reported caught on the Twin lakes.

Leeches, crawlers, and crankbaits are turning walleyes on Blackduck Lake in 14 to 20 feet of water. North Twin Lake and South Twin Lake are the area's best bets for bluegills in eight to 12 feet of water. The breaks near the Tamarack River on Upper Red Lake continue to produce quite a few big northern pike.

Heat slowed fishing a little. Walleyes in 14-20 feet on Blackduck. Panfish on North and South Twin are in shallow water. Big pike are being caught now on Red Lake. Work a spinnerbait in the 3- to 4-foot weeds or the breaks in 5-6 feet of water.
