Starting to see more ice anglers going out. Ice thickness varies from lake to lake, about 8-12 inches. Most lakes are safe to use 4-wheelers. Some are driving out on Red Lake. Blackduck Lake is kicking out a few walleyes during the evening hours and some jumbo perch during the daytime.

ATVs are being utilized in this area where eight to 12 inches of ice has formed. On Blackduck Lake, there's a good perch bite during the day and some evening walleye activity in 10 to 14 feet of water. Panfish reports have been limited, with the exception of a few crappies coming off Gilstead Lake.
