There's been some consistent bluegill activity taking place on Rabideau Lake and Lake Pimushe in 20 feet of water. On Blackduck Lake, you'll find good-sized perch at a variety of depths and some walleyes in 18 to 22 feet of water during the evening hours. A Jigging Rapala and minnow head is working best.

Panfish biting on Rabideau and Pimushe in 20 feet of water. Big perch reported caught on Blackduck Lake. Walleyes biting in 18-20 feet of water on Blackduck at night.

There’s a good perch bite on Blackduck Lake from seven to 22 feet of water and most depths in between. Look for a few walleyes off Blackduck in 18 to 22 feet during the evening hours with jigging Rapalas. The panfish bite has slowed, although lakes such as Rabideau, Pimushe, and Gilstead remain the best bets in 12 to 16 feet of water. Tip-ups and sucker minnows continue to produce northern pike on Blackduck in 12 to 18 feet of water.

Some perch and walleyes are being found on Blackduck. The crappie action has improved on Red Lake.

Walleyes can be had on Blackduck Lake in 18 to 20 feet of water during the lowlight periods of the day. The perch bite also is worth noting on Blackduck between 10 and 22 feet of water. Blackduck remains the area’s best bet for northern pike with tip-ups and minnows in 12 to 18 feet of water. Panfish continue to bite, although they’re a bit more “sluggish” than recent weeks. Lakes such as Gilstead, Rabideau, and Pimushe are worth noting in 12 to 18 feet of water.
