Walleyes on Minnewaska are in 18-20 feet of water. Use leeches or nightcrawlers and spinners. Work around the points and in front of the High School. A lot of sunfish being caught in 10-12 feet, some sorting will be necessary. Try leeches or waxworms on small jigs and a slip bobber. Emily is great for walleye action using shallow running crankbaits. Most anglers fishing from boats now here. Bass active early mornings. Look for largemouth bass around docks and the lakeside edge of the bulrush. Spinnerbaits or a leech and a bobber both producing some fish.

Shallow-running Shad Raps continue to fool walleyes on Lake Emily. On Lake Minnewaska, crawlers and leeches have produced walleyes in front of the high school and off the points in 18 to 20 feet of water. There's a decent night bite for walleyes on the north side of Lake Reno; use minnows. Small leeches and wax worms have provided steady sunfish action on Minnewaska in 14 to 20 feet of water. Look for bass to be hitting spinnerbaits and plastics near docks and along established weed edges.

Panfish action hot and heavy right now with sunfish found in 10-12 feet of water on small jigs and slip bobbers. Crappie bite good on the south end from Starbuck fishing 6 feet down in 12 feet of water. Crappie minnows or flu-flu. Northern pike anglers having success on red-eye wigglers speed trolling off the bulrushes on the north end especially has produced some fish good catches. Walleye action found deep, 25 feet of water off the points on crawlers and leeches on spinners. Good bass spinnerbait bite mornings in the rushes and around the docks. As the sun gets higher the fish move deeper and can be caught on plastics.

Minnewaska panfish are in 12-14 feet of water. Use small leeches or waxworms for the sunfish and crappie minnows for the crappies. Bass are out in deeper water now, right off the 12- to 14-foot edge of the weedline. Dark colored plastic worms working well. Walleyes on Minnewaska are in 25-28 feet of water. Nightcrawlers or leeches on a Lindy rig or spinner best.
