Maybe some of you could help me out with some vacation plans. 

What we need:

Comfortable, clean cabin, or efficiency on a beautiful lake, reasonable, budget rates 2 people.  Doesn't have to be secluded, but its nice to be on a lake that isn't crowded.  We like our space and love nature

Easy to fish lake--we aren't hard core fisherpeople, just love to catch fish--any kind. Scenic

Have to have loons--not vacation without loons

Additional things to do--reasonable eats close by, maybe I friendly pub, casino is fun.....

We have stayed in Ely and like the area, but open to any suggestions!

My neighbors own the Linden Park Resort on East Battle Lake. It is a wonderful place to spend a vacation. The lake is pristine, the fishing is great for walleye, perch, and nice bluegills. It is a family operation with new cabins, RV park, golf course nearby, and a beautiful swimming beach.
