well i think it's here fineley it's a whole 7 above it's
awesome now we can start to make some real ice..

the brainerd jc's touny is comming up soon as is the ell pout fest it would be nice to see at least 2 feet of ice at brainerd and at least 3 feet for the pout fest.

well guys and gals keep praying for more ice..

It is good to seem some colder temps. Does anyone know if there is a minimum ice thickness for an event to take place? I know that there was an awfull lot of water on top of the ice at the pout fest last year.

gezz all i remeber is all the snow sure made it hard to get around till this year i'll be going up to walker friday maybe i can check it out then..

Just got back from Pout fest this afternoon and am still confused as to why the Cass County sheriff's closed the lake to vehicles. Sunday morning they did let vehicles drive out so people could get their fishhouses off though, which was nice. Very low turnout compared to previous years, which i think was mostly due to people not even bothering to go with all the ice warnings.

It could have been a million dollar decision that the Cass County Sherrifs Dept made by having the restriction. Maybe we will have some more ice next year.
