According to the Rockford Star: Bragging can be costly if you don't follow the law while fishing. Three out-of-state anglers found this to be true recently at Minnesota's Lake Winnibigoshish. They were overheard bragging at a resort about the number of fish they had caught. The DNR was called and the three were busted with 129 perch over the limit. David S. Lape, 54, of Van Wert, Ohio, Dennis J. Lape, 48, and Julie A. Kleinknight, 47, both of East Lake, Mich., each were fined $1,300. They told the game warden, "we must have miscounted." |

| These kinds of things are why the public needs to get involved, because there are people out there that are robbing your resources right from underneath you. |

No matter how anyone feels about turning some one in - when it comes to over fishing - ALWAYS make the call and turn them in!! There is no reason to keep more than the limit! Keeping over your limit only hurts the sport of fishing! |

There's nothing like getting caught with your foot in your mouth! Maybe this will teach them all a lesson, and it sounds like they could use some help with their counting. |
