Went out this Saturday Night/Sunday Mornin on the St.Croix (WI Side) and shot a couple of gar Common Carp and Gar. Here were the results. The water is still too cold and we had a almost full moon all the bad conditions for Bowfishing. But we did have fun

3 guys flingin for a couple of hours and the other shooter in the boat said he was not feeling to good after halucinatin cause of the lights. I guess he didn't want to throw up. I can see how he got sick too cause he was always lookin up at the lights shining off shore. I should havetaken a pic of his ghostly white face. The 1st trip is a doozie. Well It's The opener for Minnesota Bowfishing today and I'm headin out at noon to do some invasive species removal by My TRUSTY ONEIDA =) I'll post some pics tomorrow. C-ya

Well, it was a  windy Rough Fish Opener. I went out and Drifted the deeps and shot a few and Missed alot also, the different shooting conditions really mess with ya when going from shootin at night and then back to daytime shooting. I had a ton of fun as I always do

TW- I accept your challenge. I guide for bowfishing so I have some young ens and newbies going this weekend to enjoy some Slimers.   In fact I introduced my daughter to the sport yesterday. She's only 2 so she road on my shoulders as we waded the river and shot some suckers. When I shot the first sucker she was a lil scared but after the next she started cheerin me on to shoot all the Daddy fish but don't shoot a mommy fish I love it, she was asking me before we even got back home from the river if we could turn around and go back. It was priceless for sure. Now I just gotta get the wifey's new bow setup and we can have a family Whack Fest. now that should be fun

On a side note you can catch the "Blaze Crew" on The Sportsman Channel coming in July 2007. we are shooting in a televised tournament for the new bowfishing TV Show  "Aim Low Bowfishing. not tryin to advertise but I thought I'd let ya'll know so you can say "Hey I seen that guy before"

Have a Good one guys!

Well Me and some buddies got out last night in all that wind and got on some Buffalo Carp for a couple of hours in Full Spawn. It was almost like duck hunting from a Deer Stand if ya get my drift. We stuck ourselves on the spawning bed and sat on the platform and shot til they all left a couple of hours later. it was loads of fun for sure in fact two loads of fun.

Got on em' hardcore yesterday, great practice and a heck of a sunburn, I should skipped work today instead. the fish were all over. If anyone reading this has never tried bowfishing. I suggest trying it in the spawn. I have never hit em as hard as I have this year. 80 Gallons of fish really make the trailer tires squat.

Total 55 Buffalo Carp and 10 Common Carp

Biggest Buff= 25lbs

Biggest Common= 22lbs
