Been a while all, hope the fall has treated everyone well. For me it's been up and down. Didn't get a bear, have gotten more than my share of grouse, have seen more deer than I ever have [I should of started bow hunting again this year!], and although I took part in one kill I didn't get my moose!
Weather was horrible for the first half of the season... if it wasn't raining it was so foggy you couldn't see 100 feet. The one morning it was relaively nice the other two that had a license in our shack had bulls running all around them for the first couple hours, just none would come out in the open. They did end up getting this nice 40" bull though. I saw nothing but cows. Regardless, it was one of the most exciting hunts I've ever been on - fun had by all, and a lot of moose meat in the freezer.
Anyway, a week and a half to deer camp! I can't wait! Although I'm still not sure my liver has recovered from moose camp!
