beef stew..........fires in the fireplace.....camping with no bugs........no crowds.....lakes all to yourself.......smoked fish........splitting wood.........down comforters.......hot chocolate...leaves changing.....the start of all the hunting seasons...fresh venison jerky.....ladies and gentleman and to the younger ladies and gentlemens...its the most wondeful time of the year... i challenge everybody to a beef stew recipe.......its got to be thick.......rutebagas a mandatory ingredient..........meat chunks after cooking- reduced to no smaller than one inch cubes....five veggies minimun......a sauce/ gravy that when you step in the house........makes you think your gramma has been at your stove...extra points for a dutch oven master piece.......enclose a photo........mail me a zip lock pouch.......my birthday is in november......all stews accepted by the house... simmeringly yours the trout whisperer

now you have threatened to visit me in the past...so you better come visit...and bring the buckmiester...then ill come ice house hopping.... brother.......of the fish..i accept your culinary challenge and a fishy quest.........we will use your ice house and your tactics......but i will bring my attitude and appetite.....you know what goes good with irish stew? ...this friday night we go after humpies on the north shore....saturday while the majority will be after woods chickens........im going walleye fishing.......back trolling in the super natural forest.......its gonna be cool and the eyes will have there feed bags ready for redtail chubs.....i have to much leaf on to let mr ruffie get my dander up yet...

Hey Trout well - looks like I will be in your area the 19th - what ya got shakin? The buckmiester will not be with me but I am sure we can have some fun even without him! walleye hunting is my plan also this weekend! The grouse are thick but the weekend warriors from the city will also be thick! I like to start my season just as the undergrowth starts to fall to the ground. The only thing that I know of that go's well with irish stew is a nice dark irish adult beverage! Good friends, and even new friends!

delta six delta six........we have in bound bogie- ..if you can hit the lz -we will lay down cover fire.....ruffies by the brooks my brother... find an offline way to get my c-ph.....number...ck the buck walleyes this weekend were hoping have moved up, just in case will start low and crawl up after them.......o dark thirty start......first lake is gin clear......early bite...by 9 am were hitting a dark water.......then for the evening were going back to where we started..... the guy im going with has patience....methodical....persistant......we grew up together.....i torture him every chance i get......and the devils track river north of grand marais minnesota........no water.......its too full of humpies....i have enough spawn from last night for the rest of this fall......
