Buck, I'm pretty sure the 12 days you speak of occur sometime in July here in Nebraska, cause right now I have 4 inches of snow, with and inch of ice from freezing rain on top of it, and at this moment it is covering all of that with more snow today.......we are not supposed to get above 15 for at least a week......yet looking through the files at weather.com, the record high for this region was 1982 when it got to 57 degrees, and in typical Nebraska fashion, the record low was 1983 with -19, don't know about Minn., but the joke in Nebraska has always been if you don't like the weather wait 10 minutes. Ah shucks guys. When I was a kid, I had to walk 2 miles to school each day - barefoot, in waist high snow, and twenty degrees below weather. You kids got it made...
