6 medium apples, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup rolled oats
3 T toasted wheat germ
3 T packed brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 T canola oil
1 T unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
Combine the apples and applesauce in a 13"x9" baking dish coated with cooking spray. In a bowl, combine the oats, wheat germ, brown sugar and cinnamon, then add the oil and butter. Crumble the mixture over the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
