There's sunfish biting on the north end, off the hill access, in 13 to 22 feet of water. Small jigs tipped with maggots or freshwater shrimp have worked best. You'll find walleyes as well on the north end in 22 feet of water in front of the hill access. Jigging spoons or setlines and shiner minnows have produced the most fish. Crappie action remains slow, but Town Bay is a safe bet for northern pike.

Crappie action remains slow, but shiner minnows are turning a few walleyes each evening off Battle Point in 20 feet of water. Reports of scattered sunfish continue to come from the north end of the lake in 15 to 22 feet of water. The anglers who have had the most success are jumping from hole to hole picking off an occasional big fish. Northern pike are hitting sucker minnows throughout the lake in 12 to 14 feet of water.

The walleye bite has held up pretty well with shiner minnows in 17 to 22 feet of water. Better areas this week have been Four Mile Bar, Johnson's Bar, and Battle Point. Crappie action is slow, and catching sunfish involves a lot of work. The fish biting are tight to the bottom in 18 feet of water. Northern pike continue to cruise the shallow weeds throughout the lake.
